Job Description

Core Responsibilities:Execute E&I site inspections, verifying installations against approved drawings, ITPs, and stringent quality standards. Conduct visual, close, and detailed hazardous area inspections, ensuring absolute adherence to ATEX/IECEx certification requirements. Coordinate and witness critical testing phases, including Pre-FAT, FAT, and iFAT, focusing on loop checks, insulation resistance, and interlock verification. Proactively manage technical documentation, including punch lists, check sheets, Ex registers, and final handover packs. Deliver remote engineering support—such as reviewing P&IDs, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and material verifications—during periods without active site work.

Job Requirements

HNC, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline. Proven track record in QA/QC, inspection, and commissioning within the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or offshore sectors (specifically with HPU, CIU, or process skids). Crucial Requirement: Strong hazardous area competence, with IECEx COPC or CompEx certification (Ex 001, 004, 007, and 008) being highly preferred. Strong Differentiator: Practical, hands-on PLC/HMI testing capabilities (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) to autonomously support logic checks and Cause & Effect Matrix verification during FAT
