Following the adoption of the Amended Personal Income Tax (PIT) Law by the National Assembly at its 10th Session on 10 December 2025, organisations are facing a new set of considerations in managing tax and social insurance compliance amid an evolving regulatory environment.

Thang has more than 18 years working in tax practice, he has deep knowledge in tax compliance, tax advice, tax controversy, tax treaty and strong experience working with Vietnamese authorities (i.e., General Department of Taxation, local tax Departments, construction authorities, licensing authorities, customs authorities, etc.).
With diverse experiences working with international companies, Thang has built a great set of skills and working experiences on serving big accounts to support them in achieving business plans in Vietnam. He continues assisting various foreign direct investments in Vietnam and Vietnamese companies to comply with international standards.
Thang has served and continuously supported numerous of clients in energy, manufacturing, trading, construction, real estate, banking, etc. in and soon to be in Vietnam with day-to-day operations and tax and administrative obstacles during their time of investment.


Ms. Thanh has spent 14 years of her professional career in delivering Global Employer Services (“GES”) in Vietnam, including Personal Income Tax and Payroll services. With technical knowledge and practical experience in this area, Ms. Thanh has served various clients across diverse industries in multiple projects including payroll, tax health check, tax review, tax advisory and tax compliance for multinational companies as well as foreign-direct-investment and State-owned.


Ms. Van has over 10 years of experience in HR, payroll, and compliance, gained through roles in private enterprises, representative offices, and professional service firms. Her background includes hands-on experience in payroll processing, HR administration, labor compliance, and working closely with legal and regulatory authorities, as well as managing large workforces across multiple vendors.
Currently, as Customer Service Payroll Manager at HR2B, Ms. Van leads a payroll team delivering compliant, accurate, and high-quality payroll services to a diverse client portfolio, including large-scale organisations. With strong customer service orientation and deep payroll expertise, she supports clients in navigating Vietnam’s complex payroll and employment regulations.


Tom is the Chair of the EuroCham Tax & Transfer Pricing Sector Committee. He is one of Vietnam’s most experienced tax specialists, having advised a wide range of businesses both international and domestic on all areas of Vietnamese taxation for over two decades. Tom has over 30 years’ international tax experience.
Tom is a partner in Deloitte Southeast Asia and held the role of Country Tax Leader of Deloitte Vietnam from 2010 – 2024.
Tom has extensive experience in the areas of tax compliance, tax planning and advisory for multinational investors in a diverse range of industries in Vietnam from manufacturing and distribution, consumer goods, energy & resources, financial services to media, information and technology.
