Job Description

Mission Driving continuous improvement initiatives through lean systems & processes to facilitate production activity increasing throughput and minimizing system waste. Monitoring our current operations and determine more efficient production processes, include the analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. And be able to design systems that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised.** Responsibilities + Analyzing workflows, leading continuous improvement projects, implementing tools like 5S and Kaizen, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and training employees on lean principles. + Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste. + Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades. + Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues. + Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel. + Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs. + Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements. + Training staff for new processes, new product and providing instructions and manuals as well as supporting the trainer in method training activities. + Identify opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiency in production. + Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to formulate/support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities + Develop and design robust manufacturing concepts to simplify/improve manufacturing processes to ensure best practice, performing structural and thermal analyses of components and assemblies, building prototypes, evaluating performance, identifying issues, and make improvements. + Create and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis and line balancing. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insight and direction.

Job Requirements

** Key Competencies
+ Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and work related experience at least 3 years.
+ In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles
+ Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified is preferred
+ Good organizational, leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Documentation and organization skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
