OUR FOUNDATION

Founded in July 2003, HR2B began its journey in Executive Search services with a modest team of just two professionals and the first version of our Executive Search & Information Selection System (ESSiS 1.0). From the very beginning, our focus was clear — to deliver exceptional recruitment solutions for senior leadership positions such as General Directors and Directors.

Our first major client, Avon (Vietnam), marked an important milestone. Competing directly with Ernst & Young, HR2B successfully recruited five out of seven director-level roles, proving our expertise and professional approach in executive search.

By the end of 2003, our client base had grown to include leading companies such as Metro Cash & Carry and AIG Life Insurance (AIA).

In 2004, HR2B’s reputation continued to rise as we partnered with global corporations like Coca-Cola, DHL, Unilever, and Prudential. We also began working with top Vietnamese enterprises including FPT, Sovico, Thien Long Pen, and Dong Tam Tile, establishing HR2B as a trusted name in executive recruitment across both international and local markets.

OUR EXPANSION JOURSEY

By 2005, HR2B had served nearly 100 clients, primarily in the Information Technology, Media, and Banking industries, marking a strong phase of growth and expansion.

To meet the increasing demand, HR2B opened its Hanoi branch, starting humbly with just two employees sharing one desk. Today, the branch operates from a Grade A office building with a team of 15 dedicated professionals, continuing our commitment to service excellence and sustainable growth across Vietnam.

2006

THE BEGINNING OF COMPREHENSIVE HR SERVICES

In 2006, HR2B launched its Payroll Management Service, with Swinburne University as our very first client. The university required support in processing payroll for four employees based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Since then, the service has grown substantially — today, HR2B has a dedicated payroll team of over 20 specialists, serving more than 40 clients nationwide. We now manage thousands of employee payments across Vietnam, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every transaction.

EXPANDING INTO STAFFING SERVICES

Veyance, Spraying Systems, and LinkSys were among HR2B’s first clients to use our Staffing Service. Initially introduced as part of our Payroll Management Service, this offering quickly evolved and was later established as an independent business unit.

HR2B’s Staffing Service provides clients with flexible workforce solutions that simplify the hiring and employment process. We take full responsibility for labor contract management and payroll administration, allowing our clients to save time and optimize resources while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

2010

MERGING FOR GREATER STRENGTH

In 2010, HR2B acquired Mekong International Services (MIS) — a competitor in the HR industry. This strategic acquisition marked a major turning point, driving a 600% increase in HR2B’s Staffing Service client base.

Rather than relying solely on organic growth, the merger with MIS enabled HR2B to accelerate expansion and scale operations rapidly. In addition, MIS’s customer service team was successfully integrated into HR2B, enhancing our capability to deliver high-quality support to both large and small clients alike.

2013

Official Partner of Kestria in Vietnam

In March 2013, HR2B became the Vietnam office of Kestria, a global executive search network.
