As a regional head of strategic plant startup projects, you will be responsible for starting up new factories (6 months), and running the production and testing (6 months) to make sure the manufacturing operates smoothly and well organized to meet the project goal and objectives.
● Coordinating vendors, engineering team, project management team in order to ensure all the construction / Installation of the civil and equipment in the plant are done in time and meet the given standard.
● Maintain a streamline communication with the key stakeholders in the new factory projects.
● Lead, direct, and control the day-to-day activities of the plant to achieve the first year financial and operating objectives set by the overall corporate business plan.
● Responsible for activities such as (but not limited to) maintenance, manufacturing, quality control, engineering, supply and logistics, distribution, TPM (total productive management), and administration.
● Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
● Set, and monitor the performance of the plant against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.
● Develop and implement a variety of operating policies and procedures (in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure that the plant meets its current and future production targets and quality standards.
● Allocate labour and capital resources to maximize productivity.
● Research, evaluate, and recommend investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's production capabilities.
● Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of functional and operational managers or other professionals (for example in human resources, finance, production, maintenance) to ensure that the plant meets its established targets and standards.


● Bachelor's Degree or Higher preferably in industrial management, mechanical engineering, or related subjects.
● At least eight years of experience in project management, plant management and supply chain management within the outdoor furniture industry.
● Strong leadership and management skills.
● Good communication in English (speaking, listening, writing and reading).
● Good interpersonal skills.
● Good presentation skills.
● Strong skills in analytic, problem solving, organization, coordination, negotiation, project management and people management.
● Strong focuses on safety, integrity, cost efficiency and quality control.
● Experiences and knowledge in the outdoor furniture product technician, procedure, production process and project management.
● Knowledge in Lean, 6 Sigma etc.
● Knowledge in local and international compliance related to the plant and supply chain matters.
● Flexible and dynamic
● Familiar with international travel and working.
