Job summary Purpose
To plan, direct and manage the quality control and provide the focus and leadership for all quality related issues.

Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies

 Responsible for ensuring that all processes are in line with the established Company Quality Management System (LQMS)
 Provides advice and interpretation to the teams on IMS procedures aimed at facilitating compliance and continued improvement
 Creates and manages all quality control procedures and policies
 Creates and manages risk management tool
 Hands-on Quality support and guidance to all levels of staff
 Manages and maintains the certificated LQMS
 Generates and analyses reliability and failure statistics to eradicate systematic problems
 Audits and monitories the supply chain and drive continuous improvement throughout the company
 Management of the site Health, Safety and environmental systems, creating a positive H&S culture and offer advice to all levels of staff
 Recruiting, selecting, and training quality staff
 Personnel management of the quality team
 Monitors and assesses contractors work to ensure the safety standards are in place and results are to the companies required standards
 Processes data using SAP and reporting KPI’s for monthly operation meetings
 Tests methods
 Organizing training programs for the team
 Organization of trials for new products
 Manages and co-ordinates analysis of quality control data to make corrective actions where necessary and guarantee ‘high quality performance’
 Implementation of the customers GMP guidelines into a full robust working system
 Implementation of statistical methods to ensure improvements are made
 Management of raw material receiving / COA’s from supplier

PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Person specification  Experience in a supervisory or management role with a track record in a similar environment
 Hold recognised academic or professional qualification and should be able to demonstrate strong experience in Quality Assurance or process improvement. Knowledge of Quality Management
Systems and other accreditations is essential, experience in TQM, SPC, 6-Sigma, SAP-QM and HSE Standards
 Good interpersonal skills required to liaise with personnel at all levels, including client staff, project teams, site operatives, auditors and external certification bodies
 Must be able to demonstrate strong, positive customer and people management background demonstrating good interpersonal skills
 Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health and safety and Hygiene
 In depth manufacturing background in quality related role
 Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, word, power point
 You must be able to provide externally recognised levels of competence that are consistent with the role
 Excellent written and spoken English language
