Job summary  Conduct market-, branch- and industry intelligence to identify new business opportunities
 Analyze market research with regard to new business opportunities
 Assist with market introduction of new products
 Assist/consult in business projects (e.g. distribution)
 Support investment, strategy and M&A projects
 Assist in identification of relevant acquisition targets
 Initiate, facilitate and support X-BU activities
 Research and benchmark industry parks and production sites
 Research, build and maintain government/association contacts
 Monitor and analyze competition and peer situation
 Propose and investigate new areas of activities for ED
 Ensure efficient communication on identified potential between region and BU/BL
 Satisfy/delight top management needs for information

PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Person specification  Very good understanding of the organization and business, able to develop strategy and manage implementation.
 Hands-on experience in one or more functions, e.g. business analysis, engineering, marketing/sales
 Interdisciplinary skills e.g. technical, business, controlling
 Hands-on experience in one or more ED fields of activity, e.g. automotive industry, paint industry, renewable energies etc.
 Intercultural and team building skills
 Able to coordinate, develop and implement multifunctional and X-BU activities as well as to generate new ideas
 Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
 Good understanding of macro economic connections and trends as well as of Chemical industry and manufacturing trends
 Strong project and team management skills, able to lead and work with a cross-functional team





Qualifications

 Bachelor degree or above, with major in chemical engineering, business administration or related fields
 Ideally 4-6 years ex
