Job summary

• Plan, direct and control all activities involving the demand, supply and tracking of material and services to the customer, including process planning, implementing, and controlling the operations of the supply chain organization as efficiently as possible to maximize the quality and reliability of materials and goods supplied. • Responsible for end to end supply chain with input into sourcing and procurement policies. • Plan, direct and coordinate all activities involving supply planning, demand planning, purchasing, storage and distribution policies in consultation with other managers for the achievement of short and long-term business objectives • Prepare plans for purchasing, storage and distribution operations to minimise costs and maintain stock levels. • Manage the preparation of the budgets, reports and forecasts and ensure they are presented in a timely manner to the COO and senior management team. • Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process and asset tracking. • Coordinate and collaborate with suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers to assure best value, delivery and best quality. • Accountable for RM & FG and RGB inventory control and maintaining service levels through effective leadership and management of the Logistics Director • Identify systems tools needed to support the Supply Chain activities to assure proper management of the key processes. • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain department and its staff. • Accountable for transport and warehouse efficiency through effective leadership and management of the Logistics Director. • Facilitate an effective integrated S&OP process through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Production, Procurement and Finance departments. • Manage and supervise the creation of material requirement plans and/or forecasts. • Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning, controlling, and forecasting, and measure actual performance against goals. • Oversee the monitoring and management of on-time delivery and customer satisfaction for current and future programs. • Coordinate the maintenance of a register of acceptable suppliers for all products. • Manage the selection and training of staff. Establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities to subordinate staff.
