Job summary Responsibilities
- Responsible for translating the user business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.
- Acts as an advocate for the users, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address user business problems.
- Be the escalation point for technical issues of software development projects
- Sets guidelines, review architecture alternatives, and perform technical evaluations. Ensure that the design solutions are aligned to business requirements
- Leads and manages the architecture governance process. Provides direction for design activities.
- Proposes to the manager on technical direction/vision for the whole team
- Ensures that recommended architecture is in line with industry best practices and current technology
- Visualizes future business requirements and accommodate in the architecture
- Visualizes the solutions from different perspectives.
- Self-trains on new technologies and features of useful software and to provide trainings to the team.
- Develops and maintains application/projects as Programmer Analyst

PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Person specification - University degree in Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development and at least 2 years as Solution Architect
- Architecture experience in n-tiered systems.
- Depth knowledge in .Net technology including .Net 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0
- Depth knowledge in Web Services, Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, Visual SVN, SVN, SQL Server 2005/2008, SQL Server Reporting Services,
- Experience in SOA, LinQ, WCF, WF, WPF and Silverlight is a big plus
- Knowledge of SAP Programming and Architecture is a big plus.
- Experience in developing solutions using Windows SharePoint is preferable
- Integration experience between .NET, Sharepoint and SAP is a big plus
- High sense of organization and responsibility
- Excellent English communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
