Job summary
|
1. Job Purpose : The holder of this position has the overall responsibility across the regional Field Sales area, i.e. being accountable for the successful operation within the field sales area in its achievement of profit and volume objectives throughout the assigned region in a manner which ensures the long term viability of the organization.
2. Accountabilities : - Achievement of regional agreed sales volume undergiven limitation of resources (TTS, people, sales equipments/facilities and others) - Formulation of regional annual operation plan (OPL),which is converted from NSM. - Development and retention of the distribution network timely and professionally - Supervision and leading of the sales team regionally. - Leading the development of the sales organisation in terms of recruitment, training, motivation and control. - Recommendation of development and implementation of sales strategies and plans. - Setting specific objectives, targets and activities for regional sales teams and the distribution network. - Understand and follow the competitive market situation. - Management of the sales administration (credit, delivery co-ordination, cash, commissions and report writing) - Maintain good relationships with customer (Distributors, Key Accounts) and company functional departments. - Maximize Customer Service and take any necessary action to maintain same including the satisfaction of any customer complaints. - Adhere to the company’s Accounting and Administration policies and guidelines.
