- Must have a bachelors or equivalent
degree, preferably in information technology or telecommunications technology.
- 8-10 years of successful sales
experience selling technology solutions with a technology company, and calling
on mobile service operators and telecom companies.
- Any experience with a telecom
service provider, or a Network Equipment Provider (NEP) or Independent
Software Vendor (ISV) is considered desirable.
- Relevant core skills are strategic
selling, account management, contractual negotiation and opportunity
development.
- Good track record in interfacing
with industry ecosystem partners to anticipate customer needs and facilitate
solution development.
- Establish a professional working
relationship (up to executive level) with the customer, and develop a core
understanding of their unique business needs.
- Outstanding communication skills,
both written and verbal, as is the ability to simply translate complex
technical pitch into meaningful business communications to senior
stakeholders.
- Experience in a complex organization
to foster cooperation and collaboration within virtual sales teams, local
people, regional staff and external partners.
- Must be self driven, goal oriented
and extremely competitive.
