Job summary
|
• Oversees the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for company applications, such as materials handling for Factory Automation and real-time control environment management. Analyzes and investigates software development tasks and prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations • Manages all activities of a 30+ software engineering organization with 2 sub-functional teams (Software Development and SQA) concerning: o Project planning, project schedule, project tracking o Risk management o Requirement management o Communication management o Quality management o Budget control (if needed) • Manages the development and implementation process of company’s products involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team of technical resources to ensure that all assigned workloads are completed in an accurate and timely manner • Manage and oversee KSA development of the staff • Plans and directs resource schedules • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function • Establish operational objectives and work plans • Review objectives and assess group productivity • Review, develop, modify and implement policy to improve group operation
